With some Washington State, Northern Oregon school districts and Universities closing, Bethel School District posted a comprehensive page with guidance about the COVID-19 pandemic.
With the stated goal of “lowering class sizes, investing in engaging courses, providing more emotional and mental health supports for students, and delivering additional training for teachers”, Bethel School District will reveal their plans for the estimated $4.6 million in Student Success Act funds, on Tuesday, March 17th at Willamette High School.
I heard today from Anne Johnstone-Diaz with the Bethel School District’s Family Resource Center (FRC) that they are starting a new 12-week parent/child group for families with a child with “Special Needs or Health Challenges (ages 3- 5th grade).” She says the following flyer is being distributed to all the schools. The group starts on March 31st.
