Welcome to Your Community
We are a grass-roots group of supportive parents and caregivers of kids with disabilities in the Bethel Neighborhood of Eugene, Oregon.
How we identify ourselves
Everyone is welcome and valued here. We accept any term you and your child might identify with to refer to your child’s access needs. We will support you as we support each other.
Why we are here
We support other parents whose children need special services to access their education. We are here to help each other navigate the procedures, norms, and lingo of the Bethel educational system.
We call Ourselves BETHEL PRO PANDA
Proactive Resources Outreach – PArental Neurodiversities and Disabilities Alliance
We are proactive in building positive parent partnerships with Bethel to meet our kids educational needs.
We share a network of resources, working together and learning together.
Our vision is outreach: All Bethel parents can be supportive and informed partners.
We are parents, step-parents, foster parents, adoptive parents, caregivers, family and professional allies.
All Neurodiverse And Disabled Students
The group covers all childhood neurodiversities and disabilities. From autism, ADHD, deafness, depression, schizophrenia, learning disabilities, intellectual disabilities, down syndrome, fragile X, etc. No matter the terms we use, or how we define ourselves or our children, disability is a natural part of the human experience.
We are joined together for mutual benefit, to achieve a common purpose.
